INFO Compulsory Module 2: Presentation and Communication 1 (10 ECTS-Credits, 6 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students have theoretical and application-oriented knowledge in analogue and digital methods. They are able to handle the most important application programmes.
INFO Compulsory Module 6: Building Construction and Technology 1 (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Successful completion of compulsory module 4.
Learning Outcome: The students have a basic knowledge of design principles and building systems. They are able to assess building physics, building technology and energy concepts. They understand the basic relationships between construction, construction method, materiality, energy design and architectural design.
INFO Compulsory Module 8: Building Construction and Technology 2 (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Successful completion of compulsory module 6.
Learning Outcome: The students gain an understanding of the relationships between building technology and construction design as well as practical knowledge in project organisation.
INFO Compulsory Module 11: Theory and Practice of the Urban (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students are able to grasp the complexity of city and landscape, analyse it and relate it to the discourses of architectural theory.
INFO Compulsory Module 12: Building Theory and Typology (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students know the basic spatial and typological concepts. They can recognize and analyse the interactions between people, space, buildings and typologies and present them in a reflected manner.
INFO Compulsory Module 17: Architectural Design 1 (10 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Successful completion of compulsory modules 1, 2 and 3.
Learning Outcome: Students are able to master simple design and planning tasks. They are able to analyse a design task, to formulate an architectural programme, to create a spatial concept and to translate it into an architectural design of a high aesthetic level.
INFO Compulsory Module 19: Architectural Design - Integrated Project (15 ECTS-Credits, 7 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Successful completion of compulsory module 17 and 18.
Learning Outcome: Students are able to master integrative design and planning tasks. They can independently and reflectively formulate an architectural concept, connect it with the discourse and implement it on different scales. They have specific methodological knowledge and skills for the integration of aesthetic, functional, programmatic, urban, typological, technical and environmental aspects.
