Learning Outcome: The students apply the scientific skills acquired in a professional environment and, after having completed the module, have knowledge and skills required for orientation about the conditions of professional scientific practice.
In order to test and apply the knowledge and skills acquired, the students of the joint study programme shall take practice with a total of 125 hours equivalent to 5 ECTS-Credits. This practice shall take place at subject-specific institutions such as the German Archaeological Institute. Before starting the practice, permission of the Academic Director shall be applied for. A practice report (consisting of 5-10 pages or 1200 to 2000 words) about the duration and content of the practice shall be elaborated and a certificate by the institution stating that the practice was completed successfully shall be presented. It is recommended to take the practice during the second semester or later.
