Compulsory Module 2: Physics, Material- and Manufacturing Techniques (10 ECTS-Credits; 7 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students
- understand the natural scientific fundamentals of physics and can transfer them on applications in mechatronics.
- understand the influence of atomic bonds and material structure on mechanical, physical and optical properties. Moreover, the students are able to apply the knowledge about diffusion, phase diagrams and heat treatments in manufacturing and processing processes as well as in case of damage.
- have advanced knowledge of the most important processes in manufacturing engineering.
