Learning Outcome: Students have basic knowledge in the areas of palaoecology, the diversity of lower plants, of culture and adventive plants, of the vegetation of Central Europe and the ecology of the forest boundaries.
Elective Module 2: Advanced Botany II (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)

Learning Outcome: Students have basic knowledge of the area of hydrobotany and enhanced knowledge in the area of diversity and the systemics of higher plants (theoretical and practical) and an enhanced understanding of botanical aspects of an habitat.

Learning Outcome: With the inclusion of gender aspects students have basic knowledge of the unique scientific-theoretical nature of biology, of the relations of biology to other disciplines and of the history of biology.

Prerequisites for registration: The prerequisites of the respective curricula do apply.
Learning Outcome: This module serves both the widening of biological studies and the acquisition of a supplementary qualification. The areas of foreign languages, IT, management and scientific and ethical reflection are recommended areas for this.
