Learning Outcome: Students are enabled to write a scientific paper based on the latest archaeological criteria, to place them in their research-relevant context and present them.
Elective Module 21: Archaeological Training I (10 ECTS-Credits, 3 h)

Learning Outcome: Students are enable to understand and evaluate the scientific questions and aims of an archaeological excavation. They are able to independently head smaller sections of an excavation site.
Elective Module 22: Archaeological Training II (10 ECTS-Credits, 3 h)

Learning Outcome: Acquisition of the specialist competence of assisting the excavation management and in taking over responsibility for some aspects of the scientific documentation and interpretation of the archaeological findings and finds. Acquisition of the ability to critically assess the cultural-historic importance of archaeological excavation findings.
Elective Module 23: Archaeological Excursion (10 ECTS-Credits,9 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Understanding of historic environments, improving the knowledge about monuments, exercising presentations on site or in museums and exhibitions; gaining and consolidating social competences.
