Module 1: Seminar for the Bachelor Thesis: Ancient History (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 1, 2, 3 and 9
Learning Outcome: Working through and contextualising information (sources and/or research literature) following the scientific rules of the subject, competence in writing historic scholarly pieces (in formulating, justifying and defending arguments and presentation skills) from a selected topic of Ancient History.
Module 4: Seminar for the Bachelor Thesis: Economic and Social History (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positive completion of compulsory modules 1, 2, 6 and 12
Learning Outcome: Working through and contextualising information (sources and/or research literature) following the scientific rules of the subject, competence in writing historic scholarly pieces (in formulating, justifying and defending arguments and presentation skills) from a selected topic of Economic and Social History.

Module 7: Interdisciplinary Skills (7.5 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: The prerequisites of the respective curricula do apply.
Learning Outcome: Acquisition of additional and enhancing competences and skills for other scientific disciplines.
A total of 7.5 ECTS-Credits in teaching units can be obtained from the Bachelor Studies run from the curricula of the University of Innsbruck.

Module 10: Society and Culture II (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)

Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Confidence in structuring short- and long-term processes and relationships between events. Competence in the reflective analysis of the genesis of historical knowledge with the inclusion of problem and method oriented issues in the area of the Greece and Rome.
Module 11: Space and Society (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students can understand special structures, conflicts and processes and strategies as well as judging policies intended to regulate these.
Module 13: European Integration and Political Theories (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students acquire basic knowledge of the history, processes, actors and of the political fields of European integration.
Module 14: Gender Studies and Social Theories (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students acquire an awareness of the relevance of gender identities. They also acquire a basic awareness of social theories.
