Elective Modules (27.5 ECTS-Credits)
Students must complete two of the elective modules 1 to 3, amounting to a total of 20 ECTS-Credits, and 1 of the elective modules 4 to 6, amounting to 7.5. ECTS-Credits.

Elective Module 1: Religion - Violence - Communication - Worl-order (10 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1 of the first part of the study programme.
Learning Outcome: Becoming familiar with the basic questions and working methods of dramatic and communicative theology in the context of the present research emphasis RVCW of the faculty: specialised discussion of with regards to the profile and the productive friction of the approaches as well as advanced discussion of one approach.
Elective Module 3: Christian Understanding of Human Beings and Naturalism (10 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1 of the first part of the study programme.
Learning Outcome: The ability to take part in the naturalism debate.
Elective Module 4: Philosophical and Theological Excursion (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 8 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1 of the first part of the study programme.
Learning Outcome: A better and more lively understanding of the specific content through an expertly-led and prepared viewing on the spot of materials and phenomena not otherwise so easy to appreciate authentically.
Elective Module 5: The People of God in the World Today - Practical Ecclesiology (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory module 1 of the first part of the study programme.
Learning Outcome: Enhanced insight into ecclesiastical issues focussed on current demands in view of global connections.
