Compulsory Module 1: Preparation Course Mathematics (2.5 ECTS-Credits, 2 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students are able to describe and explain the fundamentals of precalculus. They are able to apply their knowledge to solve mathematical issues
Compulsory Module 2: Linear Algebra (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students know the general concept of linear algebra and can use it for solving problems in this field. They are able to individually elaborate similar contents and can chose suitable methods of linear algebra in order to apply them to solve problems in the field of physics.
Compulsory Module 3: Analysis 1 (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students know the general concept of analysis and can use it for solving problems in this field. They are able to individually elaborate similar contents and can chose suitable methods of differential and integral calculus in a variable in order to apply them to solve problems in the field of physics.
Compulsory Module 5: Introduction to Physics (2.5 ECTS-Credits, 1 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students know how to explain the basic concepts and ways of thinking in physics. They are able to independently elaborate similar contents and apply their knowledge for solving problems.
Compulsory Module 6: Physics Ia: Mechanics (10 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students are able to explain the basics and corresponding concepts of physics(mechanics and thermodynamics). They are able to independently elaborate similar contents and apply their knowledge for solving problems in the field of mechanics and thermodynamics.
