INFO Compulsory Module 5: Architecture and Structures (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students understand the relationships between the structure, the different building systems, geometry and materiality. They are able to compare and evaluate structural systems and their impact on the design. They have a basic understanding of stability and component sizing.
INFO Compulsory Module 7: Structure, Design and Materialisation (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students acquire theoretical and application-oriented knowledge in methods of computer-based design, construction, materialisation and implementation. They are able to recognize their interactions, evaluate them and influence them through design methods in a reflected manner.
INFO Compulsory Module 14: Urban Design and Housing (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students have a basic theoretical and application-oriented understanding of the design and planning of housing typologies and urban spaces. They are able to apply this knowledge for specific issues in a reflected manner.
INFO Compulsory Module 18: Architectural Design 2 (10 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Successful completion of compulsory modules 1, 2 and 3.
Learning Outcome: Students are able to master simple design and planning tasks. They are able to analyse a design task, to formulate an architectural programme, to create a spatial concept and to translate it into an architectural design of a high aesthetic level. You are able to develop, present and present a project.
INFO Compulsory Module 21: Design Studio / Bachelor's Thesis (15 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Successful completion of compulsory module 19.
Learning Outcome: The students are able to apply the design, creative and scientific methods tested during the study programme for the conception and working out of architectural tasks in a reflected manner. They master the constructive, technical, typological, theoretical, historical, urban, aesthetic and socio-cultural requirements of architecture in an integrative and synergetic way.
