Elective Module 1: Current Topics in Ethics (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The knowledge of ethics is expanded and advanced by studying selected questions and theories; awareness for ethical issues is raised; ability to relate selected questions and theories of ethics to one another on the basis of the presentation and reading of selected texts, to analyse them in the context of the current research discussion, to question them independently and to relate them to current social problems.

Elective Module 2: Fundamentals of Philosophy (10 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: The prerequisites specified in the respective curricula are to be met.
Learning Outcome: Basic knowledge of terms, methods, questions of philosophical theories as well as the ability to present them in written and oral form in an understandable manner; raising the awareness for philosophical problems.
Es sind Lehrveranstaltungen im Umfang von insgesamt 10 ECTS-AP aus dem Bachelorstudium Philosophie an der Philosophisch-Historischen Fakultät und/oder aus dem Bachelorstudium Philosophie an der Katholisch-Theologischen Fakultät auszuwählen.

Elective Module 3: Religions and Criticism of Religions (10 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: The registration requirements specified in the respective curricula are to be met.
Learning Outcome: Basic knowledge of the terms, methods, questions of religious studies, theological and religious-philosophical theories as well as the ability to present them in written and oral form in an understandable manner; training in intercultural and interreligious dialogue skills as well as transdisciplinary skills.
Es sind Lehrveranstaltungen im Umfang von insgesamt 10 ECTS-AP aus dem Bachelorstudium Islamische Religionspädagogik und/oder dem Bachelorstudium Katholische Religionspädagogik auszuwählen.

Elective Module 4: Law, State, Politics (10 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: The registration requirements specified in the respective curricula are to be met.
Learning Outcome: Fundamental knowledge of the terms, methods and issues of natural scientific, social and spiritual theories of the human-nature relationship and the Anthropocene discourse as well as the ability to reflect on them from an ethical point of view and to present them in written and oral form in an understandable manner; development of transdisci-plinary skills
Courses covering altogether 10 ECTS-Credits are to be selected from the
Bachelor¿s Programme in Political Science and/or the Diploma Programme
