Compulsory Module 10: Slavonic Literary Studies - Basic Skills (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students are able to present and explain the development of Russian literature as well as individual epochs. They area also able to characterise and assess the most important positions in literary and cultural theory that have emerged in Russia or in the cultural areas of Eastern/Central- and South-Eastern Europe.
Compulsory Module 11: Slavonic Literary Studies - Core Skills (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students are able to characterise and assess literary texts, genres and films in consideration of different methodological approaches. They are able to solve actual problems by using their knowledge.
Compulsory Module 12: Slavonic Literary Studies - Advanced Skills (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: successful completion of compulsory module 11
Learning Outcome: Students are able to explain and assess selected questions and phenomena in the area of Russian or another Slavonic literature and culture. They are able to use this knowledge for finding solutions to specific questions.
Compulsory Module 13: Russian Literature - Reading (10 ECTS-Credits, 1 h)

Learning Outcome: Students are able to characterise the most important works of Russian literature including their socio-cultural context. They are also able to assess the literary canon.
