Learning Outcome: Knowledge of scientifically founded strategies and application skills in order to silve prototypical problems of multimedia translation. Broadening of skills for new job profiles in multimedia translation.
Module 6B: Media Translation First Foreign Language (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)

Learning Outcome: Skills and competences required to process foreign language texts professionally to the student's mother tongue and vice versa in the field of film synchronisation, subtitling and multimedia.
Module 7B: Literary Translation First Foreign Language (5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Capacity of analytical examination of source text, especially recognising its formal and stylistic peculiarities. Students are enabled to transfer individual, artistic original texts to another language and culture area.
Module 8B: Media Translation Second Foreign Language (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)

Module 10B: Proof of Competence: Literary and Media Communication (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 1 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory modules 1, 2, 5B and 6B.
Learning Outcome: The students are able to elaborate a ready-to-use translation product adequate to the target group according to the job description and its framework conditions. The translation shall be adequate to the text type and functional and prove the students' transfer skills in Multimedia Translation.
