Learning Outcome: Acquisition of an overview of Greek and Roman history based on central questions and guidelines with special consideration of political and social conditions and the gender aspect; acquisition of basic knowledge for structuring short- and long-term processes and event contexts as well as for reflexive analysis of the generation of historical knowledge, including problem- and method-oriented questions in the field of ancient history.
