Elective Module 2: Command of the Russian Language I (12.5 ECTS-Credits, 10 h)
Prerequisites for registration: successful completion of elective module 1
Learning Outcome: Widely independent use of language, simple exchange of experiences and information; understanding of key points of intermediately difficult, also longer oral and written texts (level: A2/B1)
Elective Module 3: Command of the Russian Language II (10 ECTS-Credits, 8 SSt.)

Learning Outcome: Independent use of language; understanding of key points of long, complex oral and written texts; increasing language awareness in the fields of grammar, stylistics and pragmatics (level: B1/B2)

Elective Module 5: English: Language System II: Focus on Language in Context (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)

Learning Outcome: Advancing of grammatical skills; improvement of the understanding of spoken and written language in context (utterances, sentences, texts, notional and functional concepts); target level C1 (achievement of effective operational proficiency)
Elective Module 6: English: Focus on Language Usage I (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)
Prerequisites for registration: successful completion of elective module 4 and 5
Learning Outcome: Pragmatic and discussion competence; psychological and sociolinguistic appropriateness, text types and discourse principles; development of correct register use and sociolinguistic competence. Target level C1+ (extension of effective operational proficiency).

Learning Outcome: Knowledge of the unique nature and role of philosophy in scientific contexts, acquisition of the necessary knowledge and skills for the successful completion of introductory seminars and seminars; knowledge of the basics of scientific work, knowledge of concepts of philosophical logic (existence, identity, need, judgment, truth, conflict e.g.); knowledge and practical mastery of philosophical argumentation models.

Learning Outcome: Students can apply the knowledge and skills gained in the study programme in practice. Having completed this module students know about the conditions in the professional and/or scientific world.
Students of the Bachelor¿s Programme Comparative Literature can gain practical experience corresponding to 5 ECTS-Credits (or 120 hours resp.) to apply their knowledge and skills gained in the programme, to learn about the world of work and to acquire additional qualifications. The practical experience can also be made during the lecture-free periods. It is recommended to make the experience abroad. Before starting the practical experience it must be approved by the Director of Studies. The practical experience module can be passed in institutions acc. to §1 para. 4. Duration, extent and contents of the tasks must be confirmed by the institution. Moreover, a report must be written. Elective modules 27 and 28 can be made in the same institution (to an extent of altogether 10 ECTS-Credits or 240 hours).

For individual specialisation modules of the curricula of the bachelor programmes of the University of Innsbruck corresponding to 20 ECTS-Credits are to be chosen according to §54 par. 1 of the Universities Act.
