Elective Modules (17.5 ECTS-AP)
17.5 E-ECTS-Credits are to be passed from the following elective modules: Elective module 1 (depending on the allocation of courses from elective modules 2 and/or 3) may cover 10, 12.5, 15 or 17.5 ECTS-Credits: * Students of the Bachelor's Programme Architecture may not select courses SL Cultural Studies and VO Architecture and Artistic Practice. * Students of the Bachelor's Programme Translation Studies may not select course UE Languages and Cultures in Comparison. * Students of the Bachelor's Programme European Ethnology may not select course VO Culture Theories. * Students of the Bachelor's Programme Philosophy may not select courses VO Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art and SE Aesthetics and Philosophy of Art. * Students of the Bachelor's Programme Art History may not select courses EU Application of Art History I and EU Application of Art History II. * Students of the Bachelor's Programmes Comparative Literature, French, Italian and Spanish may not select courses VO Cultural History I and VO Cultural History II. * Students of the Bachelor's Programme Comparative Literature may not select courses UE Applied Literary Studies I and UE/EX Applied Literary Studies II. * Students of the Bachelor's Programmes English and American Studies, French, Italian and Spanish may not select courses VU Gender Studies and VU Introduction: Media Analysis. * Students of the Bachelor's Programme Slavonic Studies may not select course VU Media Analysis. * Students of the Bachelor's Programme German Philology may not select courses VU Writing Skills and VU Presentation and Interaction Skills.

Elective Module 2: Practice 1 (2.5 ECTS-Credits) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students apply acquired knowledge and skills in a professional environment; after completing the module, students are aware of the conditions of professional and/or scientific practice.
To test and apply the acquired knowledge and skills or to orient themselves about the conditions in professional practice and to acquire additional qualifications, students of the Minor Culture and Management in Context can pass a Practice covering 2.5 ECTS-Credits (or 60 hours resp.). The Practice may also be passed during the lecture-free period. It is recommended to pass it abroad. Prior to commencing the Practice, approval from the Director of Studies must be obtained. The Practice is to be completed in relevant institutions. Examples may be taken from the curricula of the Bachelor¿s programme involved in the Minor (English and American Studies, Architecture, European Ethnology, French Studies, German Philology, Italian, Art History, Slavonic Studies, Spanish, Translation Studies, Comparative Literature, Management and Economics). A certificate from the institution must be submitted stating the duration, scope and content of the work performed; furthermore, a report must be written. Elective modules 2 and 3 may be passed in the same institution (to the scope of altogether 7.5 ECTS-Credits or 180 hours resp.
Elective Module 3: Practice 2 (5 ECTS-Credits) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students apply acquired knowledge and skills in a professional environment; after completing the module, students are aware of the conditions of professional and/or scientific practice.
To test and apply the acquired knowledge and skills or to orient themselves about the conditions in professional practice and to acquire additional qualifications, students of the Minor Culture and Management in Context can pass a Practice covering 2.5 ECTS-Credits (or 60 hours resp.).
