Compulsory Module 1: Psychology and Ethics (10 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students can relate psychological, philosophical and theological images of man to one another; they can apply ethical forms of argumentation from the past and the present independently and innovatively to specific fields.
Compulsory Module 4: Exegesis of the New Testament (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students have in-depth expertise in New Testament exegetical research and can work on their understanding of New Testament texts independently and in a scientifically innovative manner.
Compulsory Module 6: Theological Anthropology and Perfection Theory (10 ECTS-Credits, 7 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students know the Christian doctrine of creation, anthropology and perfection doctrine in their manifold references to other theological topics and to competing worldviews; they can use their findings for the critical handling of alternative approaches and can innovatively develop gender-specific aspects in philosophy and theology and apply them to specific research fields.
Compulsory Module 10: Canon Law: Fundamental Administrations in Ecclesial Life (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students can innovatively apply basic canonical norms in the preaching and sanctification service as well as in ecclesiastical marriage law to specific research questions.
Compulsory Module 14: Preparation of the Diploma Thesis (5 ECTS-Credits) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students are able to write a short description of the content (synopsis) of the planned Diploma Thesis and to outline the time schedule.
Compulsory Module 15: Diploma Thesis Defence (2,5 ECTS-Credits) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive evaluation of the compulsory modules of the first and second part of the study programme, the Interdisciplinary Skills acc. to §6 par. 2 and the Diploma Thesis
Learning Outcome: The students are able to present the Diploma Thesis in the overall context of philosophy and theology and to defend it in a discussion.
