Elective Module 14: Near Eastern Archaeology I (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)

Learning Outcome: Students have advanced their subject-specific competence through critical reflection on current theories relevant to research in Near Eastern Archaeology. They are able to understand the theoretical connections between archaeological findings and their interpretation.
Elective Module 15: Near Eastern Archaeology II (10 ECTS-Credits, 3 h)

Learning Outcome: The students are able to independently work out specific research questions in the field of Near Eastern archaeology independently and to discuss their cultural-historical significance for historical reconstruction on the basis of practice-oriented case studies.
Elective Module 16: Near Eastern Archaeology III (10 ECTS-Credits, 5 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students are able to participate in the organisation and management of a scientific excavation abroad and to carry out some tasks in the field of scientific documentation of findings and the processing of them.
