Learning Outcome: The students have advanced their language and translation and interpretation competence by working on a selection of Latin texts from different genres and epochs. They are able to critically deal with different research opinions and, on this basis, take a stand on current questions in research.
Elective Module 11: Latin Studies II (10 ECTS-Credits, 8 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students have advanced their knowledge in the field of post-antique Latinity with special regard to its historical and cultural context and its significance for European intellectual history. They have developed their skills in reading medieval and early modern manuscripts.
Elective Module 12: Latin Studies III (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)

Learning Outcome: The students have advanced their knowledge in individual subareas of Latin literature. They can apply selected methods, theories and concepts to concrete topics and texts and critically reflect them.
