Learning Outcome: Fundamental knowledge of Translation Technology. Content-related, methodological and reflexive skills required for professional use of technological standards, software and media infrastructure in translation.
Module 2: Terminology (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Fundamental knowledge of terminological work. Content-related, methodological and reflexive skills required for independent elaboration of terminological products using stateof- the-art research, software and media technologies.
Module 3: Translation Studies (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Independent examination and critical evaluation of the publications relevant for the
discipline; conception of project design in view of the Master Thesis.
Präzisierung der Fragestellung, Erstellung einer Auswahlbibliographie, Erarbeitung eines theoretischen und methodischen fundierten Exposés einschließlich der Beschreibung der weiteren Arbeitsschritte. Planung eines entsprechenden Zeitrahmens für die Durchführung der Masterarbeit.

Module 5: Master Thesis Defense (2.5 ECTS-Credits)

Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of all other compulsory and elective modules as well as the Master Thesis.
Learning Outcome: Examination of the Master Thesis in the overall context of the Master of Arts programme, with special focus on theoretical comprehension, methodological issues, communication of findings of the Master Thesis and presentation skills.
Final oral defense of the Master Thesis in front of an examination board.Notes:
