Compulsory Module 2: Contemporary Philosophy (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)

Learning Outcome: The students can critically assess validity claims in the field of contemporary religious philosophy, language philosophy and philosophy of science and develop them further independently.
Compulsory Module 3: Exegesis of the Old Testament (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students have in-depth expertise in Old Testament exegetical research and can work on their understanding of Old Testament texts independently and in a scientifically innovative manner.
Compulsory Module 8: Fundamental Theology and Theology of Religions (7.5 ECTS-Credits, 5 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students can apply their acquired knowledge independently and innovatively to current problems of the justification of faith and the interreligious dialogue.
Compulsory Module 11: Pastoral Dimensions (5 ECTS-Credits, 3 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students can reflect on pastoral theory-practice constellations and develop them innovatively.
Compulsory Module 14: Preparation of the Diploma Thesis (5 ECTS-Credits) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: The students are able to write a short description of the content (synopsis) of the planned Diploma Thesis and to outline the time schedule.
Compulsory Module 15: Diploma Thesis Defence (2,5 ECTS-Credits) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: positive evaluation of the compulsory modules of the first and second part of the study programme, the Interdisciplinary Skills acc. to §6 par. 2 and the Diploma Thesis
Learning Outcome: The students are able to present the Diploma Thesis in the overall context of philosophy and theology and to defend it in a discussion.
