Compulsory module 1: Humanistic and Cultural Aspects of Digital Transformation (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Based on selected topics, students learn aspects relevant to the digitisation of their discipline and can present and identify central terms, questions and methodological concepts.
These topics contain references to the humanities, social and cultural sciences as well as general ethical and legal aspects. Students are able to critically reflect on the effects of the digital transformation of society as well as the humanities and cultural sciences, to analyse this content, to question it independently and to relate it to each other.
Compulsory module 2: Fundamentals of Computer-Assisted Methods for the Humanities and Cultural Studies (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students can explain the basics of programming, data management and data analysis. They are able to deal systematically with data and metadata and have acquired the skills to organise, classify and model data. They are able to independently carry out the datafication of smaller inventories in humanities and cultural studies.
