Elective Module 4: Management of Employment Relationships: Current Topics (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of the mandatory courses referred to in § 7 (2 and 3).
Learning Outcome: An understanding of current work-related topics and the development of
employment relationships along with the competence to reflect on related challenges plus the skill to draw on relevant theories when discussing these current topics.
Elective Module 5: Organizational Communication and Governance (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of the mandatory courses referred to in § 7 (2 and 3).
Learning Outcome: The skill to interact competently with stakeholders based on knowledge
about stakeholder management, internal and external communication along with the design of governance structures and processes in organizations.
Elective Module 7: Accounting and Organization (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of the mandatory courses referred to in § 7 (2 and 3).
Learning Outcome: Students develop and understanding of the role and function of control and management practices in organizations and learn to reflect on them critically.
Wahlmodul 8: Interventions in Organizations (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of the mandatory courses referred to in § 7 (2 and 3).
Learning Outcome: Competence to analyze and systematically categorize context and
situation-specific methods of organizational consulting, based on knowledge of different forms of intervention, their conditions as well as their effects.
Elective Module 9: Digitale Gesellschaft (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of the mandatory courses referred to in § 7 (2 and 3).
Learning Outcome: Verstehen der Folgen, Potenziale und Herausforderungen der Digitalisierung für den öffentlichen Sektor und Non-Profit-Organisationen. Erkennen des Aufkommens neuer Formen digitaler Öffentlichkeiten bzw. digitaler öffentlicher Güter. Verstehen und Beurteilen von sozialen und ethischen Implikationen der digitalen Transformation von organisationalen und manageriellen Praktiken sowie neuer Formen des digitalen Aktivismus
Elective Module 10: Nachhaltigkeit organisieren (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of the mandatory courses referred to in § 7 (2 and 3).
Learning Outcome: Erwerb eines grundlegenden Verständnisses für nachhaltigkeitsbezogene Themen und Belange aus der Perspektive von Organisationen; Entwicklung von spezifischem Wissen über das Management von Nachhaltigkeitsprojekten.
Elective Module 11: Offenheit als Organisationsprinzip (10 ECTS-Credits, 4 h) (no courses)
Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of the mandatory courses referred to in § 7 (2 and 3).
Learning Outcome: Identifikation und Beurteilung verschiedener Phänomene organisationaler Offenheit, des Verhältnisses von Offenheit zu anderen, diesbezüglich relevanten theoretischen Konzepten; Verständnis über die Einbettung des "Organisierens von Offenheit" in philosophische Grundlagen einer "Offenen Gesellschaft".
