Learning Outcome: The students acquire differentiated knowledge about the origin and development of Islamic mysticism and can explain its concepts and basic terms. They will be able to explain the various classical and contemporary discussions in Discursive Rational Theology, incorporating social, scientific, and ethical concerns. They are able to present in detail the faith foundations and teachings of Islam and discuss various historical as well as contemporary concepts of God and faith.
