Learning Outcome: Specialised knowledge of an Indo-Germanic or a non-Indo-Germanic language intended to broaden the students linguistic horizon.
Two language courses of 2.5 ECTS-CREDITS each or one language course of 5 ECTS-CREDITS may be taken in order to learn an Indo-Germanic or non-Indo-Germanic language.

Learning Outcome: Examination of the Master Thesis in the overall context of the Master of Arts programme in Linguistics, with special focus on theoretical comprehension, methodological issues, communication of findings of the Master Thesis and presentation skills.
Final oral defense of the Master Thesis in front of an examination board.Notes:
