Elective Module 1: Free elective Module I (15 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: The prerequisite specified by the respective curricula must be met.
Learning Outcome: Students have additional competences and skills. They can recognise the connections to their own expert knowledge.
The module allows - depending on available places - the completion of further courses and modules of this Bachelor's degree program that have not yet been completed or of courses and modules from other Bachelor's degree programs offered at the University of Innsbruck. It is recommended that students also complete courses from the field of Gender Studies, Women's and Gender Studies.
Elective module 2: Free elective module II (30 ECTS-Credits)
Prerequisites for registration: The prerequisite specified by the respective curricula must be met.
Learning Outcome: Students have additional competences and skills. They can recognise the connections to their own expert knowledge.
The module allows - depending on available places - the completion of further courses and modules of this Bachelor's degree program that have not yet been completed or of courses and modules from other Bachelor's degree programs offered at the University of Innsbruck. It is recommended that students also complete courses from the field of Gender Studies, Women's and Gender Studies.In order to test and apply the knowledge and skills they have acquired or to gain an orientation on the conditions of professional practice and to acquire professionally relevant qualifications, students can complete a work placement worth 14 ECTS-Credits (in public administration institutions, business, chambers and interest groups, national and international organizations, etc.). Approval must be obtained from the Director of Studies before commencing the internship. A certificate from the institution must be submitted stating the duration, scope and content of the work completed; a report must also be drawn up.
Elective Module 3: Practice (15 ECTS-Credits, 1 h)
Prerequisites for registration: This module may only be taken after having passed at least 30 ECTS-Credits.
Learning Outcome: Students have the experience of how knowledge and skills acquired in education are applied in a professional environment. They are familiar with the conditions of professional practice and recognise connections between different organisational functional areas. They can establish the connection between theoretical knowledge and practical action and reflect it critically.
