Learning Outcome: Students have qualifications which enable them to join the scientific discourse constructively, responsibly and sensitively towards gender aspects, also beyond the boundaries of their own discipline.
Teaching units up to 7.5. ECTS-Credits of the curricula for the BA study programme installed at the University of Innsbruck can be selected freely. It is particularly recommended to attend a teaching unit in which gender aspects, including the specialist results of Women's and Gender Research, are dealt with. (e.g. Gender aspects in technology); furthermore, teaching units to acquire language and social competences are recommended; in addition to that, teaching units are recommended that deal with aspects of security technology (legal basics, work and production security) in mechatronics. (2) Elective modules covering 40 ECTS-Credits must be passed, at least 20 ECTS-Credits of which must be selected from a foreign language in a fashion to promote the acquisition or advancing of language skills of one and the same language (Russian, English, Italian, French or Spanish). INFO Master's Programme Slavonic Studies according to the curriculum 2009 (120 ECTS-Credits, 4 semesters)
1. 10 ECTS-Credits must be passed by elective module 1 or 2 (second Slavonic language) and 20 ECTS-Credits by passing elective module 3 and 5 (literary/cultural studies) or by passing elective modules 7 and 9 (linguistics). 2. Another 30 ECTS-Credits must be passed either from a. complementary modules (complementary modules are modules from other curricula corresponding to 30 ECTS-Credits, providing the availability of places; they are dis-closed in the University of Innsbruck Bulletin. Or b. from elective modules 11 to 16 or c. in form of an advanced study. 3. Advanced studies are possible in the field of "Slavonic Literature and Cultural Studies" and "Slavonic Linguistics". If an advanced study field is selected, then the Master¿s Thesis must be written in the selected advanced study field. a. By passing elective modules 4, 6 and 11, the advanced study is passed in the field of "Slavonic Literary and Cultural Studies". b. By passing elective modules 8, 10 and 11, the advanced study is passed in the field of "Slavonic Linguistics".
