Module 16: Fundamentals of Clinical Psychology (10 ECTS-Credits, 6 h)

Prerequisites for registration: Positive completion of compulsory modules 1 and 11.

Learning Outcome: Students acquire knowledge of the most important paradigms of clinical psychology and of the various different psychic disturbances and the basic psychic conditions, they know the diagnostic criteria of various psychic disturbances and their etiology. The acquired knowledge should be transferred to concrete case studies.

Moreover, they have an overview of the various research approaches in the psychotherapeutical process as well as in outcome research. They can critically evaluate the former with respect to research and practice.
