Master's Programme Civil Engineering according to the Curriculum 2014 (120 ECTS-AP, 4 Semester)
Elective Modules, Extension Level 1 (30 ECTS-Credits)
Concentration Option MOS: Modeling and Simulation (15 ECTS-Credits)
Elective Module MOS 1-2: Modeling and Simulation 1-2 (5 ECTS-Credits; 4 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students are proficient in the theoretical principles of the finite element method (FEM) and can apply the FEM for linear calculation of the load-bearing capacity of structures and to solve problems relating to heat conduction and moisture transfer.
Elective Modules, Extension Level 3 (22.5 ECTS-Credits)
Concentration Option MOS: Modeling and Simulation (12.5 ECTS-Credits)
Elective Module MOS 3-4: Modelling and Simulation 3-4 (2.5 ECTS-Credits; 2h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students possess advanced knowledge and skills in various areas of numerical modelling and simulation. They can approach complex problems independently and with correct methodology in order to develop innovative solutions.
