Learning Outcome: Students have knowledge of the core areas of public law and private law, in particular the tiered structure of the legal system, the basics of constitutional law and administrative organisation as well as public law legal protection, furthermore the basics of the general part of civil law, the law of obligations and property law as well as company law. They know the principles of the respective procedural rights. They can handle the technique of subsumption and apply it to simple case constellations.

Learning Outcome: The students have in-depth knowledge of Austrian fair trading law, in particular its framework under European law, the structure of the Law Against Unfair Competition (UWG), furthermore the core areas of competition law (prohibition of cartels, prohibition of abuse, merger control) and its framework under European law. They have knowledge of securities law, capital market law and public and private banking law. They are able to apply their knowledge to various case constellations.
