INFO Master's Programme Slavonic Studies according to the curriculum 2009 (120 ECTS-Credits, 4 semesters)
1. 10 ECTS-Credits must be passed by elective module 1 or 2 (second Slavonic language) and 20 ECTS-Credits by passing elective module 3 and 5 (literary/cultural studies) or by passing elective modules 7 and 9 (linguistics). 2. Another 30 ECTS-Credits must be passed either from a. complementary modules (complementary modules are modules from other curricula corresponding to 30 ECTS-Credits, providing the availability of places; they are dis-closed in the University of Innsbruck Bulletin. Or b. from elective modules 11 to 16 or c. in form of an advanced study. 3. Advanced studies are possible in the field of "Slavonic Literature and Cultural Studies" and "Slavonic Linguistics". If an advanced study field is selected, then the Master¿s Thesis must be written in the selected advanced study field. a. By passing elective modules 4, 6 and 11, the advanced study is passed in the field of "Slavonic Literary and Cultural Studies". b. By passing elective modules 8, 10 and 11, the advanced study is passed in the field of "Slavonic Linguistics".

Prerequisites for registration: Students of the Master's Programme Slavonic Studies may not pass the complementary subject area in Slavonic Literary and Cultural Studies. The language skills required for the completion of the complementary subject area are assumed.
Learning Outcome: Graduates of the complementary area Slavonic Literary and Cultural Studies
- use the Russian language independently and have a command of the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing at the language level A1/A2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages.
- have specialised knowledge and specialised problem solving skills as well as subject-specific competences in the field of Slavonic Literary and Cultural Studies for finding and implementing sound solutions to subject-specific questions on a high methodological level.
- have a critical awareness of issues of knowledge in the field of Slavonic Literary and Cultural Studies.
- are able to successfully work on complex learning contexts in the field of Slavonic Literary and Cultural Studies in an innovative and interdisciplinary way.

The following modules from the curriculum of the Bachelor's Programme Slavonic Studies (compulsory module 2) and the curriculum of the Master's Programme Slavonic Studies (elective modules 3 and 5) covering altogether 30 ECTS-Credits must be passed:
