Bachelor's Programme in Slavic Studies according to the curriculum 2024 (180 ECTS-Credits; 6 semesters)
Compulsory modules (145 ECTS-Credits)
In the first Slavic language, modules 4¿8 must be completed either in Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian or in Russian. All modules 4¿8 must be completed in the same language.
B. First Slavic Language (50 ECTS-Credits)
Compulsory Module 6: First Slavic Language III Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian or Russian (7,5 ECTS-Credits; 6 h)
Prerequisites for registration: positively passed compulsory module 5
Learning Outcome: Students can use the language largely independently, both verbally and in writing.
They understand the main points of longer written and spoken texts (level A2/B1). Students have comprehensive theoretical knowledge of both structures and individual facts in key areas of Bosnian/Croatian/Montenegrin/Serbian and/or Russian. They are able to analyse individual elements in these areas, their function, their relationships to one another and their organising principles, and can pass on their knowledge in a way that is tailored to the target audience.

INFO Bachelor's Programme Comparative Literature according to the curriculum 2012 (180 ECTS-Credits, 6 semesters)
Elective Modules (40 ECTS-Credits)
(2) Elective modules covering 40 ECTS-Credits must be passed, at least 20 ECTS-Credits of which must be selected from a foreign language in a fashion to promote the acquisition or advancing of language skills of one and the same language (Russian, English, Italian, French or Spanish). These Credits can either be passed with elective modules 1-18 or by passing modules in Comparative Literature at another foreign-language university (Russian-, English-, Italian-, French- or Spanish-language university).
Elective Module 2: Command of the Russian Language I (12.5 ECTS-Credits, 10 h)
Prerequisites for registration: successful completion of elective module 1
Learning Outcome: Widely independent use of language, simple exchange of experiences and information; understanding of key points of intermediately difficult, also longer oral and written texts (level: A2/B1)
