Learning Outcome: This module serves to extend the studies and to acquire additional qualifications. Stu-dents are able to participate in a constructional scientific dialogue beyond the bounda-ries of their own discipline in a responsible manner and with the necessary sensitivity to gender aspects.

Learning Outcome: The students have knowledge of the European and international relations in business law. They are able to understand and reflect the historical genesis and development of business law. Students master legal methods such as subsumption and interpretation, legal research techniques and the rules of academic work.

Compulsory Module 7: Private Law and Basics of Civil Procedure Law (30 ECTS-Credits, 16 h)
Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students have in-depth knowledge of the law of obligations and property law, can critically reflect on findings from doctrine and case law from these areas and independently process and solve complex issues. They are able to link facts of the law of obligations and property law with a foreign connection in terms of conflict of laws. The students also have basic knowledge of the various areas of civil procedural law (civil procedural law, non-contentious proceedings, execution law, insolvency law) and can independently process and solve simple civil procedural issues.

Prerequisites for registration: none
Learning Outcome: Students know the specifics of legal language and are able to formulate legal texts in an understandable and precise manner. They also have a basic knowledge of English legal language. They know theories of verbal and non-verbal communication and can apply them in legal discourse.

III. Law - Integrated Programme according to the Curriculum 2018
Second Part of Studies I. (§ 6, 240 ECTS-AP)
Es sind weitere Wahlfächer im Ausmaß von insgesamt 8 ECTS-AP zu absolvieren. Die Lehrveranstaltungen können nach Maßgabe freier Plätze aus den Curricula der an der Universität Innsbruck eingerichteten Bachelor-, Master- und Diplomstudien gewählt werden. Dabei kommen auch Lehrveranstaltungen aus Frauen- und Geschlechterforschung in Betracht.
Elective Modules (§ 7 - 4 and 5)
Übungen und Seminare aus den Pflichtfächern des ersten und zweiten Studienabschnittes, die das in § 6 Z 18 und 19 festgelegte Maß überschreiten, können im Ausmaß von 8 ECTS-AP als Wahlfächer gemäß Abs. 2 berücksichtigt werden
