- distinguish between basic approaches of business and management-oriented thinking;
- systematically and critically analyse academic texts and classify and evaluate their content in the context of the basic understanding for the way of thinking in business management they have acquired;
- write and argue their own texts in a structured manner and correctly apply the rules of good scientific practice;
- develop their own question in business management, generate findings, communicate them to others and process critical feedback.

Learning Outcome: Students recognize the relevance of theoretical concepts. They are able to research the state of scientific discussion and empirical basis. They can systematically organise the material, critically comment on it and present it accordingly.

Prerequisites for registration: First Diploma Examination. Admission to the elective courses of SBWL Special Business Administration (Advanced) referred to in § 7 Para 2 No 18-31 requires the succesful completion of the corresponding course of SBWL Special Business Administration (Fundamentals) referred to in § 7 Para 2 No 4-17.
