Learning Outcome: The students are able to
- define basic concepts of descriptive and inductive statistics and explain them in their own words;
- distinguish and describe different types of statistical analyses with regard to their application possibilities and information content;
- select and carry out various inferential statistical methods (in particular t-tests, analysis of variance, Wilcoxon test, chi-square test, regression analysis) for empirical questions and interpret the results appropriately;
- safely handle statistics software.
