Job Description:

Main tasks: conducting independent research as well as collaborative research within the field of Integrative Design with a focus on digital production technologies such as 3D printing, bio-integrated design; independently and collaboratively teaching courses, supervising design and seminar projects, and conducting examinations; acquiring, managing, and leading third-party funded projects and other activities; participating in research projects and associated publications and exhibitions; attending conferences, congresses, and relevant further education events for professional development; contributing to administrative tasks within the working group, organizing exhibitions, and public relations activities. Required qualifications: Completed master's or diploma degree in architecture and completed doctorate in architecture; professional qualification and ability to conduct scientific work and creatively implement it; interest in transdisciplinary research topics; knowledge of contemporary architectural discourses, especially in the field of 3D printing with biological materials, material cycles, and systems thinking; demonstrable experience in research, third-party funding management, proposal writing, teaching, university administration, and construction practice in the aforementioned areas; strong sensitivity to design and aesthetics; excellent English language skills, German language skills recommended; commitment, resilience, teamwork, and communication skills; high social competence and sense of responsibility as well as pedagogical qualities and enjoyment of knowledge transfer. The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this position amounts to € 2.376 per month (14 times)*.
