Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Independent research activities in the field of geodesy, photogrammetry, AI applications, computer vision
- Independent organisation of courses and holding of examinations
- Supervision of students incl. co-supervision of theses
- Participation in organisational and administrative tasks as well as evaluation measures
- Acquisition of third-party funded projects
- Continuing education
Your profile
- Above-average completed doctoral or PhD studies in a relevant subject (geodesy, geoinformatics, computer vision with spatial reference, forest remote sensing, geography, or similar)
- Very good knowledge of English, preferably also good knowledge of German
- Expertise in photogrammetry, laser scanning, 3D data processing (point clouds) and deep learning
- Class B driving licence
- If possible, experience in the field of tunnel surveying
- Interest in AI in geodetic and topographic applications
- Independent, reliable, self-reliant, accurate, team player

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this position amounts to € 4.752 per month (14 times)*.
