- 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed
Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Independent research in the field of Austrian cultural history
- Independent teaching
- Participation in the research and publication activities of the Institute and participation in teaching; supervision of students
- Training and further education
- Administrative tasks
Your profile:
- Completed relevant Master's, Magister or Diplom degree in history or a related subject
- Please enclose a written outline of your dissertation project with your application (max. 5 pages)
- Very good computer skills; very good knowledge of German and English, further language skills with regard to the languages of the Habsburg Monarchy are expressly desired
- Ability to work in a team, independence, initiative and good communication skills

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.789 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.683 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
