University Assistant (PhD position)

  • 20 hours per week; will be increased to 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed

Job Description:

Your tasks:

  • Digitalisation and law, sustainability and law, innovation and law, mobility and law, philosophy of law, legal theory, legal criticism, gender and law
  • Independent realisation of academic research work within the scope of the dissertation
  • Own teaching and participation in teaching for law students (Bachelor, Master, Diploma)
  • Supervision of students
  • Training and further education
  • Participation in organisational and administrative tasks

Your profile:

  • Completed degree in law, business law or another degree programme (diploma, master's or master's degree) that qualifies for admission to the doctoral programme in law at the University of Innsbruck Good knowledge of German and English Proven ability to work well academically Empathy and ability to work in a team; creative problem-solving skills and personal responsibility

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for 20 hours per week amounts to € 1.857 per month (14 times)*. The salary will be increased to € 2.785 for 30 hours per week once the dissertation agreement has been signed and sent to the Personnel Department. The salary will be higher if you have worked in a similar position before.
