Job Description:
Your tasks:
- Independent research in the field of modern German literature with a focus on Austrian literature in the 20th and 21st centuries
- Independent organisation of courses, holding of examinations, supervision of internships and theses (BA, MA)
- Cataloguing of collections (literature from Tyrol) in the literature archive
- Activities in the context of academic self-administration (in research projects, in the organisation of academic events, in university administration)
Your profile:
- Doctorate in the field of literary studies (modern German literature, comparative literature)
- Publication and lecture activities at home and abroad
- Publications on recent and contemporary Austrian literature
- Experience of working in libraries or archives
- Proof of very good knowledge of Italian (C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
- Desirable: gender-orientated practice

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this position amounts to € 3.761 per month (14 times)*.
