Job Description:

Your tasks:

  • Independent research in the field of modern German literature with a focus on Austrian literature in the 20th and 21st centuries
  • Independent organisation of courses, holding of examinations, supervision of internships and theses (BA, MA)
  • Cataloguing of collections (literature from Tyrol) in the literature archive
  • Activities in the context of academic self-administration (in research projects, in the organisation of academic events, in university administration)

Your profile:

  • Doctorate in the field of literary studies (modern German literature, comparative literature)
  • Publication and lecture activities at home and abroad
  • Publications on recent and contemporary Austrian literature
  • Experience of working in libraries or archives
  • Proof of very good knowledge of Italian (C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages)
  • Desirable: gender-orientated practice
  • independence

  • ability to work precisely

The minimum gross salary (stipulated by collective agreement) for this position amounts to € 3.761 per month (14 times)*.
