The objective of the PhD seminar is to provide an overview of quantitative research designs for management research. The seminar should enable students to understand, assess, and design scientific work that uses (common) quantitative methods.

The focus of the course is on understanding and applying different research designs rather than on the details of specific statistical techniques, but some statistics will be needed.

Quantitative research designs and methods in management research; construct measurements, causality and endogeneity, experimental vs. survey designs; tests of reliability and validity, hypothesis testing (ANOVAs, regression analysis), etc.
