We will focus on translating authentic texts that cover the entrepreneurial sector. You will acquire basic vocabulary and familiarize yourself with idiomatic phrases of both languages in the field of law translation. You will also learn how to use tools such as dictionaries and alternative research options as well as tools in the field of AI.
Assignments (research, terminology, translation), discussing translation assignments, work in teams of two or more. Use of different tools.
2 written assignments: one test in class and one assessed homework assignment (comparable to the Masterabschlussprüfung, within restricted time, including a reflection of your translation).
You will receive all information about relevant literature as well as worksheets, source texts, etc. in class.
