please read a German translation of the novel as well as the book „Niklas Holzberg, Der antike Roman. Eine Einführung, Darmstadt: Wissenschaftliche Buchgesellschaft 2006 (ISBN: 9783534187690)“. The knowledge of the contents is checked at the beginning of the lecture by an exam.
