Students will be able to:
select, set up and operate chemical synthesis apparatus, including extraction and distillation apparatus;
isolate and characterize organic compounds by extraction, distillation, recrystallization and separation of mixtures of substances, including simple syntheses;
consider appropriate safety measures when carrying out chemical experiments, including the handling of chemicals and the use of protective equipment;
understand and apply organic syntheses as an approach to various types of organic compounds and active ingredients, including the synthesis of natural products and selected compounds;
Construction of chemical synthesis apparatus; extraction; distillation; recrystallization; separation of substance mixtures using physical and chemical properties; simple organic syntheses.
Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).
Course examination according to statute section on "study-law regulations"
Will be discussed in the first lesson.
The internship takes place from
Course A: 28.04.2025 - 16.05.2025
Course B: 26.05.2025 - 16.06.2025
Mon-Fri 12:00-18:00.
Registrations are required by 21.02.2025!
