To give students an overall insight into the workings of English at an advanced level > C1+
and create a flexible awareness of the language.
Time/tense, subjunctives, nouns/nounphrase, verb/verb phrase, modality, word-order, concord, co-text, context, referencing etc. - based on textual concepts and contexts
Class presentations supported by obligatory tutorials, open class discussion. Weekly homework based on revision of that week's in-class topic. Attendance at first session is oblgatory!
Final written exam, class presentation.
Will be discussed in class.
