Learning Outcome:

The purpose of this course is to strengthen and work on the contents of the Italienisch 2-course. Development of the ability to read and write. Understanding and producing narrative texts; the newspapers language; instructions. Endorsement of general writing skills.

Contents:

Reading/comprehension of B2 level texts; lexical expansion covering the treated topics . Composition of texts relating to current events, education and professional topics. Translation of texts from German into Italian.

Methods:

Guided and free production of texts. Reflection on various types of text, error analysis and comparison between different translations produced by the students.

Assessment:

Intermediate and final test on the different text types presented during the course.
