Student acquire enhanced knowledge of selected issues of international politics with the help of specific examples.

This seminar, which will be held in English, focuses on the linguistic turn in the discipline of International Relations. It will introduce students to the philosophical underpinnings of this turn, different theories of how language re(creates) reality/ies, and methods that allow us to generate and analyze linguistic data. On the basis of this introduction into theories and methods, students will plan and implement a small research project.

Continuous assessment (based on regular written and/or oral contribution by participants).
