The students should understand the substance of IT Governance and be able to apply partial aspects autonomously
The lecture provides an overview of techniques, standards and tools of IT governance, which is used for a modern management and control of IT landscapes. This includes topics like the organization and management of IT-related processes in companies (Service Level Management, Capacity Management), security- and risk management and their relevant laws and standards, as well as the strategic alignment of IT.
Lecture, case studies, group discussions, presentations and small homeworks, eventually guest speaker
