Learning Outcome:

The students are able to describe the biblical foundation and historical development of gestures of prayers appropriately, and to apply their knowledge to a critical evaluation of contemporary practice.

Contents:

Evidence of gestures of prayer in the Bible and in the Christian history.

Methods:

Lecture with casual support by pictures and videos, possibility for queries and discussion.

Assessment:

Written examination.
