Orientational knowledge of the history of historiography and historical sciences.

The course takes a look at both the past of history and the numerous facets of the current subject. Likewise, it also presents the individual core areas (e.g. their periodisation/s, questions, history of research, sources of information, methods and institutions), the history of higher education as well as the history of the historical core subjects at the local university. The students participate actively by giving very brief presentations, i.e. biograms including text samples of great producers of canonical texts.
