The course offers the students a basic, solid methodologic preparation as well as the theoretical skills to recognize the features that characterize a text and thus determine the translation strategy to be applied;

to tackle the challenges emerging from the morhosyntactic structure as well as from the metaphors, phrases or idioms related to the German language.

The final mark is made up of an average mark, based on the individual wiritten tests (intermediate and final test). Calculating the final mark, the marks of homeworks, as well as exercises given and corrected by the teacher in each class of the term, accounts for 20%.
